Hluboká nad Vltavou

České Budějovice
Přemysl Otakar II. Square is main square of České Budějovice. Significant is primarily its size and shape, because it creates almost exact square with an area of almost exactly 1 ha. With adjacent parts is the total area of square almost 17 hectares.
An important feature of the square is the Samson fountain. It is one of the largest fountains in the country with a diameter of 17 square meters. In the middle of Baroque fountain is a statue on a pedestal performs four Atlas figures supporting the large circular bowl with a sculpture representing the biblical Samson on a lion.
Right next to the fountain is ,,erratic boulder”. There are rumours that if you step on it after midnight, you get lost and you will not find your way back home.
Black Tower was built in the 16th century. Today it is open to the public and offers views of the surrounding countryside. The tower is 71.9 meters hight. If climb up through steep stairs you can view 7 bells, some of which are woven with legends.
Mountain Kluk
Mountain Kluk is another popular destination for strolls. Located near the mountains Kleť and near the village Křemže the mountain offers good visibility from a height of 760 meters above sea view of the surroundings.
